In contrast to many others, we drove our tour through Namibia counter-clockwise. This way, we encountered many wild animals and flourishing savannah first. Then, while getting farer south, the land became more and more dry, culminating in the "bad lands" along the Oranje river. Our focus was on deserts, savannah and vastness.
For us, the tour was a chain of highlights - every day. However, if asked to say which was best, let us answer this way:
| the most beautiful lodge: | Vingerklip Lodge |
| the most beautiful campsite: | Hauchab Fontein |
| the most beautiful landscape: | Wolvedans Dunes |
| the wildest place: | along the Oranje river / Fish River Canyon |
| culturally: | the friendliness of the native people and idiosyncrasy of the landladies and landlords at the (secluded) guestfarms |
We hope to be able to add our impressions, descriptions and hints soon. In the meanwhile: if you have any questions and like to get in contact with us, go ahead! We will be happy to help you with, e.g., planning your trip.
