Short Vita

1993 Diploma in mathematics with minors computer science and operations research, Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn.
1994 - 1997 Research assistent in the group " Complexity and Algorithms", Institute for Computer Science, Humboldt-University at Berlin. Responsible for the BMBF project PARALOR, work package "airline crew scheduling". Here is an article of Berliner Zeitung about this work (in German).
1/1999 PhD in computer science from Humboldt-University at Berlin. Thesis on "Combinatorial optimization methods for the airline crew pairing problem" (in German).
11/1997 - 9/2000 IT consultant at VSS GmbH (now part of Unilog Integrata Unternehmensberatung) in Bremen. One of my pet projects was DISSY.
11/2000 - 5/2003 Technical Account Manager at ILOG
11/2003-10/2005 Trainee teacher of mathematics and computer science at IGS Stierstadt resp. Studienseminar Friedberg
